· SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS may pick up their materials in the old kitchen. Contact Mike Mastbergen or Maggie if you have any questions.
· PLEASE check the narthex for any pans or other items left here at church. We want to make sure you take them home!
Thank you to everyone for your prayers, cards, and words of encouragement during Maggie's eye surgery and recovery. A special thanks to the Congregational Care Committee for organizing a meal, to Pastor Irwin for his visit, and to the church staff for covering for Maggie while she was gone. Praise God for a loving and supportive church family! Maggie, Matt, & Audrey Gaudian

· WHS Release Time has been discontinued this year, so starting on September 15 Maggie will be offering a Wednesday morning Bible study before school at 7:00 AM at church for high school students in the fireside room. Cereal and juice will be provided. The school has said that they will avoid scheduling required meetings on Wednesday mornings to allow churches the opportunity to meet with students. The new Bible study will now
be called "First Light", and this year students will be diving into the book of Proverbs. Please fill out a registration form and return it to Maggie by Sept. 14.
· RCYF (The Vine) high school youth group will meet after church on Sundays beginning on September 19. The Vine will meet at 11:00 AM in the upstairs youth room when a 2nd offering is collected. When there is not a 2nd offering, students will be dismissed during the closing hymn. This allows the group to have extra time on some Sundays and to also have time on other Sundays to interact with congregation members or to play basketball in the gym. The bulletin and power point will direct students when they are to be dismissed.
